We’re honored to be joined by Ryan Guirlinger, Ukraine Political Unit Chief with the Office of Eastern European Affairs (EUR/EE) at the U.S. Department of State, for today’s meeting. Ryan speaks four languages (Arabic, French, Spanish and Turkish), holds a Master’s Degree from Syracuse University and has served the Foreign Service since September, 2008.

Christy Miller joins us this week to share information on the Americana Music Academy where she serves as Executive Director. The Academy was founded in 2001 by Thom Alexander to allow for individuals interested in music to gather. Dr. Miller also holds a doctorate degree in Musicology from the University of Kansas.

Beth McKenzie, the Development Director for the Audio-Reader Network, will share information about her important career. Beth has been with Audio-Reader since 2016 and has experience with grant writing, fundraising and more.
A dedicated Rotarian and lifetime Kansas, Shania Lopez-Cabrera will join us to share information about Mental Health First Aid for Rotarians. Shania is a member of the Jayhawk Breakfast Rotary Club.
