Jim Evers was inducted to our club December 2nd. He's no stranger to Rotary International though, in fact he is a Paul Harris Fellow and a San Jose Endowment Fellow. He's been members of both the Downtown Topeka and San Jose Chapters.
Jim is a communications engineer consultant with Engineering-Solutions.
With his broad history with Rotary we are excited to have him with us at Lawrence Central.
Deborah Kurtz, Sam Bhakta, and Allison Vance Moore each recently became inducted as new Rotarians with our club.
Deborah works at the Meritrust Credit Union, Sam is the owner of the Roadway Inn on Iowa Street and Allison is an executive at Grubb & Ellis | Winbury Group
We're proud to welcome them as new members of our Rotary family.

Our July 22, 2009 meeting was held at the Spencer Museum on the KU campus and was hosted by Carolyn Chinn Lewis. She showed us what's new at the Spencer and gave us some behind-the-scenes insight on how the museum operates.
In other exciting news we were delighted to welcome our new member Carolyn Johnson into the Lawrence Central Rotary family.
