  • 2009 Lawrence Central Rotary Annual Picnic.

Lawrence Central Rotarians, and family, gathered at the Clinton Lake Overlook

picnic area Saturday, September 12th, for a few hours of fellowship. Children enjoyed the great playground equipment and nearby trails while the adults enjoyed time to relax in some wonderful Kansas weather. Ed Samp cooked up some excellent grilled and fried chicken while others brought favorite side dishes. There was not an official name for the fudge-oatmeal- carmel bars, but they were fantastic!

In other exciting news we were delighted to welcome our new member Carolyn Johnson into the Lawrence Central Rotary family.
