Tiffany Utech, a Victim Services Specialist with Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD), joins us today. The mission of MADD is to “end drunk driving, fight drugged driving, support the victims of these violent crimes and prevent underage drinking”. MADD was established on September 5th, 1980 in California after the death of Cari Lightner at the hands of an impaired driver.

Nancy O’Connor, Executive Director of Growing Food Growing Health, joins us today. Ms. O’Connor’s organization aids with the operation of community gardens at schools and a local drug treatment center.

James Chiselom, Executive Director of the Lawrence Community Shelter, joins us today to speak about his work and Lawrence and beyond. Mr. Chiselom was selected to be Executive Director in December, 2023, and past career experience includes work with the Kansas Housing Resources Corporation, Valeo Behavioral Health Care and more.
